Belt Bucket Buzz at the PACE 2008 Expo!
Wow . . . it was a big expense and a ton of work, but we have learned Trade Shows are well worth it!
Our Belt Bucket team flew out to Los Angeles to attend the PACE 2008 Paint and Coatings Expo at the LA Convention Center. We had been gearing up for the show for over 4 months. We weren't entirely convinced that it was the right trade show for us to be in, but we figured just the exposure alone would be a plus even if we didn't generate many leads with contractors. We are soooo glad we decided to do it. We couldn't have asked for a better response. We had interest from not only contractors in the commercial and residential industries, but distributors and retailers, both national and international. Some big names too - Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, Kelly Moore, ever heard of em? Our biggest surprise was when we got interest from government naval and aviation contractors. We never expected that! What a rush!
We had a blast working as a team to introduce the Belt Bucket. We worked long hours and didn't sleep much, but enjoyed every minute of it. After 12 long months of branding the company, designing our packaging and marketing materials we were ready to launch the product and did so on the first day of the PACE show! Over the past few months we had only been equipped to do e-commerce, but are now ready for retailers and distributors! Bring 'em on!
We have returned from the show and are excited to pursue the business we have generated. With many potential accounts on the table we are having to consider bringing business consultants and investors aboard so that we can meet the demands of each account. Good stuff - just very intense! So if you don't hear from us or see us for several months we are just trying to keep afloat! Please don't forget to pray for us. Mainly for direction and wisdom, money wouldn't hurt either . . . thanks for all of your support. We'll keep you informed . . .
